01 / Challenge

The upfront price was the whole barrier.

Smartphone ownership in Zimbabwe was not being held back by desire. It was being held back by the size of the payment on day one.

Kancane Kancane Credit existed to remove that barrier. The campaign had to make the scheme understood before it could make it wanted.

02 / Idea

Not a handset. A way in.

We positioned the smartphone as more than a device — a gateway to preserving memories, staying connected, and taking part in the digital world.

The name did the strategic work: kancane kancane — little by little. The idea was the payment plan told as a human story rather than a finance product.

03 / Execution

Simple enough to repeat out loud.

A deliberately simple, easy-to-understand creative approach communicated the three things that mattered: the affordability of the scheme, the flexible repayment terms, and the added value that came with it.

The work was built for salaried consumers looking for an accessible path to owning a smartphone — so clarity beat cleverness at every turn.
